Mahalo to help you
Much fuzz about the Microsoft-Yahoo Bing search deal. Jason Calacani’s Mahalo provides search on any topic with one-page dossier combining human-generated content and conventional search results organized by source and service.
Mahalo is one of a few substantially funded alternative search engines including Powerset, Hakia, Wikia, and ChaCha.
Mahalo is a human-powered search engine dedicated to help people easily find information and resources they can trust. Mahalo launched in public alpha in May of 2007, added the freelance-fueled Mahalo Greenhouse in June and graduated to public beta in October of that year.
Mahalo is actually no competitor for Google or Bing/Yahoo: Results pages are a mix between a traditional search layout and Wikipedia. Also nice feature: Mahalo Answers. This is a knowledge exchange community where members provide answers for any question you may have. If you have knowledge to share, you can earn tips by answering questions other users have posted.
Check here for other ways to make money with Mahalo. What’s next?

Multi Channel Self Service: Banking Industry
As mentioned in Accenture’s BlogPodium, the banking industry increasingly uses the popular and cost efficient Internet channel for information and transactions purposes.
Although Forrester Research says that online business is better suited to withstand an economic downturn than physical stores or catalogs, it becomes more and more important for companies across all industries to decrease costs to serve, to improve customer acquisition & retention and increase cross and up sell.
In this context, companies within the banking industry should understand the (online) self service opportunities by determining a solid multi channel management strategy which enables their capability to deliver a consistent branded customer experience across all customer interaction channels.
